- support and passage insulators are made of composite ceramic based on epoxy resin;
- the enclosure is made of galvanized steel;
- every switchgear unit consists of four solid compartments (busbar compartment, low voltage compartment, cables compartment, circuit breaker compartment), each of which has its own exhaust valve for pressure relief;
- the contact part of the circuit breaker is insulated (the connection of plug-type power connectors of the sliding element occurs in an insulation tube), completely eliminating interphase short circuits;
- the depth of the cabinets remains constant for all primary schemes, regardless of the number of power cables and the nominal current or the breaking current of switchgear unit ;
- the cable compartment panels are quick-detachable, attached to the switchgear unit on slots, and can be fast removed by lifting them upward. Unlike panels on hinges, they do not obstruct the narrow passage behind the cells;
- there is a lock to prevent the removal of the cable compartment panel when the grounding disconnector are not applied;
- the shoot-through type grounding disconnector operates when the “dead point” is reached, independent of further actions by personnel;
- the door of the circuit breaker compartment is fixed in ten points when closed, providing reliable protection against explosions during short circuits;
- the motor drive for the grounding blades and the movement of the sliding element allows for fully remote control of the substation from the control center, thereby ensuring increased safety for the maintenance personnel.
