KZO-205 type switchgear cubicles are components of air-insulated switchgear (AIS) sections.
The KZO-205 cubicles feature a metal-enclosed design and withdrawable functional units for safe and convenient operation.
The KZO-205 cubicles can be installed either in permanent buildings or in prefabricated modular-type enclosures (SMB type), depending on the project requirements.
Features

The circuit breaker is mounted on a withdrawable truck, providing convenient access and safe operation.

The enclosure is made of hot-dip galvanized steel, ensuring high corrosion resistance.

All insulators used in the cubicle are made of composite epoxy-resin ceramic.

The withdrawable element can occupy three distinct positions within the enclosure: service, test, and disconnected.

The design includes a full set of mechanical and electrical interlocks to ensure operator safety, namely:

Interlock preventing movement of the circuit breaker from the service to the test position (and vice versa) when the breaker is in the ON position.

Interlock preventing closing of the circuit breaker when the withdrawable unit is in any intermediate position between service and test.

Interlock preventing racking-in of the withdrawable unit from test to service position when the earthing switch is closed.

Interlock preventing closing of the earthing switch when the withdrawable unit is in service or intermediate position (i.e. possible only in test position).

Interlock preventing opening of the cable compartment door unless the earthing switch is closed.
